New Jonas Armstrong role - Field of Blood
According to the BBC website here, Episode 1 of Field of Blood is airing on BBC1 Scotland on Sunday at 9pm, with Episode 2 on Monday. The summary of the show, from that link:
Adaptation of Denise Mina's thrilling novel set in 1982. When the story of a murder has huge implications for her family, newspaper copy boy Paddy Meehan battles prejudices to get to the truth. As she inches closer to revealing the truth her investigations place her in mortal danger.
Jonas plays the character of Terry Hewitt:
Terry is 26 years old and a journalist at the Daily News newspaper in Glasgow. He is bright resourceful and together, a young reporter who is definitely on the way up. What he needs is the story that will make his name. After an initial misstep he becomes one of the few people in the newsroom who believes in Paddy. Terry is prepared to back Paddy’s instincts as they break the rules to prove that the police are wrong about a recent child murder.
There's also a preview at the link, which is only accessible in certain areas. I think it looks quite good-- seems like there'll be some suspense/action in with the drama.
