I do see the possibility of Voldemort being in the back of Ginny's mind. It is very logical, and any reasonable person would see it. I never thought about it that way at all, but now that i've heard your own thoughts, i'm re-thinking all of it. Could Ginny possibly be possessed by Voldie? If so, when is he going to re-surface? And will Harry realize what's happening before it's too late? Will he be able to save her again? This are the questions lingering in my mind so far. But I feel that most HP fans will bypass that theory as ludicrus and impossible. I alone see it as an inavoidable, inevitable fact that needs exploring. (sorry if that was a little lengthy, hehe)
As for when Voldie will resurface...like I said, he may not be able to. In the light of the events and decisions from the final chapter of HBP however, what could happen is that Harry, through a series of harrowing and possibly torturous adventures, finds and destroys the remaining Horfucks (thats what I'm calling them in my head now) including Nagini, then has his big showdown with Voldie-prime and comes out on top.
Then, thinking hes beaten his enemy, he goes back to his life and his love - only to have Ginny, as the last remaining VP, suddenly turn on him and hes forced to deal with her then...
Again, just a theory further to my other theory - Im full of theories today...

That would be devistating for Harry. Harry would probably just yell at her, and ask her why, wondering how in Merlin she could do this to him, being Ron's sister, and one of his good friends, and all. But then, he could also have a shit fit, and start blowing up shit, which in turn, would make Voldie laugh.
The theory is pretty much speculation though, if you ask me.
You said, "JKR made a point to say that they Horcruxes could easily be living creatures."
What if, neither could really 'die'. Because Harry is also a Horcrux? The lightning scar on his forehead? A part of Voldemort, without him meaning to cast on another living person? Plus, there's also the Unicorn blood from Quirrell.
So, the locket is destroyed by R.A.B.
The diary may or may not be destroyed by the basilisk fang.
The ring destroyed by Dumbledore (may he rest in peace) himself.
That leaves: Nagini, and Hufflepuff's cup and two other unknown Horcruxes.

these r all really interesting theorys but wot if the potion that dumbledore drank was also a horcux and that is why he made harry make sure he drank the whole thing and he wasnt begging severus not to kill him but he was telling him to do it. as he had made him promise earlier. but alas that is just my theory but wot do u all think bout it? suga
