Crying over a lost pet isn't strange! I sobbed for at least an hour after my first pet tarantula died! Ok- maybe that's strange. :]

That's comforting!! And tarantulas are like the dogs of the bug kingdom to me, ha ha, so I wouldn't blame you. It just sucks to lose a pet because you always expect them to be there, but when they aren't you just feel lost. :(

When my kitten died last year, I bawled for days. It still makes me cry when I think about it. It's strange how attached we get to pets.
