My Dream
When I fell asleep in Audrey's bed I had an odd dream, parts are left out so please forgive me because they were not clear in the dream either.
It started out as a boy talking a long walk...
the boy looked a lot like Elijah Wood, it was weird. Anyway, he was walking through some town that looked like something out of Big Fish and was dying of heat exhaustion. He just kept walking and passed all of these people and eventually got into an area of woods with a road down the middle and passed out. He died from heat exhaustion. Anyway, there was some conflict between Heaven and Hell and the boy was brought back to life except he could do things over. It started over with him taking a walk again. He passed the same people but decided to change his course so he didn't die. On his way he decided to stop and get a glass of water. Keep in mind that this town is full of mythical creatures like witches and elves and gnomes and the sort but they all co-exist. He goes into a house full of goblins and asked for a glass of water so they decided to give it to him. While he is waiting for the water he notices a pile of painting buckets sitting in the basement, it reminds him of his uncle. His uncle was mentally unstable and used to be over-protective of buckets for no apparent reason and he used to spend his days stacking them and murder anybody who he thought would steal them. So this boy runs into the basement and starts stacking the buckets, he notices a painting that the goblin-girl made and thinks she is going to steal the buckets. On an insane rampage he cuts his own wrists and bleeds all over the painting yelling maniacally and smearing paint all over the place. The goblins find him an throw him out. The reason he is going insane is because of the fact that he is changing the future. He is walking again and passes a lake and sees a girl whom he likes. She waves and he waves...etc. Well anyway, he is some sort of creature like a witch, I think they were both like sorcerers or something and they cannot go in the water. Trying not to die from heat exhaustion, he jumps in the lake. The lake instantly starts turning to mud and all these kids are drowning and parents are trying to save them and he is laughing maniacally. Suddenly the world starts to tilt so he grabs onto a swing set and pulls himself up. He is standing on the side of the swingset looking down as everybody but the girl dies. He continues his journey and passes an old gnome with a wrinkly face and beard, everybody is very nice in this town. He also passes some creepy, hunched over witch lady with rotted teeth and wiry hair. He continues. He finally reaches the spot where he died before and suddenly drops dead.
It was such a splendid dream, I'm thinking the meaning of it is that no matter how hard you try, you cannot change the future. Maybe it has something to do with destiny...I dunno.
