Since the Enterprise is piloted by humans all the sentinels would have to do it break in and start killing humans and then the enterprise is pretty much toast. The sentinels could find the self-destruct button (there's got to be one), or they could just let it float with all of its dead human cargo into the abyss of space.
i agree that the enterprise is toast in this case. but lets think about it anyway.
1. the sentinals are awesome and kick everyone's ass in matrix revolutions (even though the movie sucked).
2. the enterprise has captain kirk OR captain picard (who is also secretly professor x).
3. if captain picard is professor x, that means magneto must be involved, and magneto could obviously crush the enterprise in his sleep.
4. the enterprise has a cloaking device.
5. the sentinals, along with magneto, could be assimilated by the borg and kick everyone's ass.
6. spock can communicate with whales.
7. spock dies.
8. spock comes back.
i change my answer to the enterprise winning this one, because it isn't so much about the sentinals against the enterprise. it's the sentinals versus SPOCK! and SPOCK can communicate with whales.
