Yay, I've been waiting for this! (although now I'm agonizing over how short the writing period is, with all the other things I have going on - and all the other bangs and NaNoWriMo that take place around the end of the year, and I go back to work, and and... Oh well, it will happen if it happens. *shrugs*)

I know I shouldn't - not with DCBB and the other projects I have, but omg, I want! I got a story already. Lets do this thing.

I'll ask this here since there was no "ask the mod" post:

Rough drafts are due in two days but there is no post about that yet... (which is kind of good, because... I'm not ready. I may be ready come weekened, IF I get to writing, but... hello, writer's block!)

Which leads me to my original question: I am not sure if I'll reach the target word count in time. I am, however, fairly certain I'll complete the story in time for posting because even I'm not that slow. (I just need a good, stress-free weekend and to get on with it...)

I know rules are there for a reason, but would it be okay if I tried to complete the story in time even though it's not nearly done yet, and didn't participate in the art claims? (I can do my own art, or go without, but I would really love to be able to post my story as part of this big bang when it is finished. And it will be finished, damn it. *shakes fist at all the general lack of writing in the last months*)

Haha, I was just drafting the big drafts due post last night.

You can absolutely post with everyone, even if your fic is not ready for art claims. :D

Yay! (the art is ever secondary to my burning desire to stick the "written for Robo BB" tag on the story :D). Who knows, a miracle might happen now and I'll be ready by the actual rough draft deadline, but I kind of doubt it and it will give me more time to just... chill and finish it without the horrible pressure.
