Dad...

For those of you who don't know, my Dad retired last year after having a stroke that left him with a blindspot on his left side and gave him a close-up view of mortality that is often reserved for people his age.  It could have been a lot worse, but it was a scary thing and it has brought us close after about 15 years of general estrangement.

You have it all wrong, babe. I love women. It's just that they confound me and you know how I get when I don't understand something. Different is stupid.

As for old people, I usually find them charming so long as they're not driving a car.
