It's hard, but you kind of have to think of it as a blessing. That might require convincing yourself completely, but I've found that being single means I can do a whole lot more and not have to answer to anyone.

yeah, I can understand that. but, on the bright side, I've found that friends are ALWAYS there in some way and I know you're not short on those. sure, it might be awkward attempting to make out with them, but hey... they're around for emotional support, right?

haha, and just so you know, you have people around like me that are your friends at a distance! i don't know you fantastically well, but that just means I can offer a fairly unbiased opinion.

says who? everyone else? just do whatever feels right for you and focus on what's important right now (school). if you do that, i'm sure you'll do fine with your tests and finals, and then deal with the relationship stuff when you have nothing more pressing at hand. you're still very young and you don't absolutely need to find someone right now. it will all work out eventually, just be patient and keep your head up.

I'd say you should just take the time for yourself. Enjoy the single life.
Try not to get caught up on the fact that people may say you "need" someone else.
You've got to be able to make yourself happy before you can allow yourself to be happy with someone else.
Anyways, i haven't heard from you in a hot minute, but i hope school goes well.
You can be my school hero, you can motivate me to get back in! :)
And i agree, dating is quite cringe-worthy.
