Not to kick a dead horse, but when I asked you out it wasn't for the sex, if that counts for anything. I know you and I probably wouldn't work out, but it's that hope thing you're talking about, you know? And you figure, even if it all fell to shambles, there's good times before that, no matter how long or briefly they last. All I'm saying is that if there's even a small chance you could be happy with someone, go for it. And don't let the fear of breaking up with them eventually keep you from trying it out. I don't care if it's me, I don't care if it's not. I just wanna see you happy about something for once because I think it'd be the jump start you could use to get you outta your funk. Of course, I'm not one to lecture on the methods and procedures of leaving one's funk, cause fuck, I've been in one since I was born. But don't stress yourself out, kid. Just remember that I'm here to help you when you need it, and so are all your other friends.
