I am so sick of living in Spokane for many reasons, but one of them is the social conservatism. Yeah, I agree with all of this. I heard a statistic years ago that something like 1 in 5 'underage' suicides (couldve been suicide attempts) was due to confusion about sexuality.

It all comes back to religion in my view - people choosing to (selectively) follow what's written in the bible (or Quran etc.) over what logic, evidence and reason support. It kinda makes me despair for the future tbh.
