Sometimes it feels like people are all stargazing
and they want to bring out the telescope and look at one specific (maybe special?) star
but if they brought it out, they wouldn't be able to see the others
and so they keep looking, wishing they could see a little better.

Dumb post, I know. Sorry.

eh, it was a misfire. i was trying to go up to one of those others stars, yell "fuck you star!" and then shoot it in the face.

the idea is to concentrate on one while always keeping the others in your peripheral. That way, you've achieved a focus while keeping notice of the other gaseous spheres that light the night sky. Of course, transliterally, I can also collect upon those few sentences posted above. A telescope is simply a tool that limits the myriad of possiblities that illuminate a lifetime's navy blue backset.
