[Four] - Locked TO Known Hostiles

Well, now that we've had time to lick our wounds, so to speak...

That could have gone a tad bit better, but it could have gone much, much worse ( Read more... )

Sir if I can be of any use to the plan please don't hesitate...I noticed there was a suggestion of the need for disguises and I am fully equipped to help prepare such.

Also...and...this is simply another suggestion...perhaps a distraction is in order? To draw people from the area that they are holding Mr. Doom?

Well, as I said to Doom, it requires a certain something I'm not sure we have just yet.

And yes, yes. Distraction seems to be the order of the day, but it requires luring out an awful lot of people. And things that would lure THEM out, specifically...

...hm. Hmmm...

The element of surprise...and the use of a smaller team served you well Doctor, I expected nothing less from what I'd seen and heard.

Such may also be the key to you're next activities. While it seems that in large swarm attacks the heroes flourish...smaller groups and single Tamers are far too easy to pick off. You would think after months of listening to Tamer after Tamer get attacked when they foolishly spent time alone or even away from their digimon (Truly stupidity at it's finest) that they would learn.

Sadly, the element of surprise in the manner it was used can only BE used... so many times. One has to choose such attempts wisely.

The issue at hand, of course, is dividing and conquering an entire BASE.

I have found it successful retrieving someone during a time freeze, though the security at DATS may have counterattacks ready in that case.

In fighting DATS in general, it may be wise to identify their tacticians and take them out first. The others will be more prone to making mistakes.

More than likely, I would expect after Kurata's attempted invasion, DATS has likely improved their defenses. From what I researched, there haven't really been any real outward attacks on them since.

But, that's a very good point. Pinpointing them should, actually... not be too difficult. Basing on whom they seem to have in charge of certain units would be a good way in which to start.

If we can find a way to split them up - that would work well. Those goodie goodies seem to work best as a team, but separate them and they will fall.

One thing to remember, of course, is that they're liable to split THEMSELVES up.

They're not split into teams for nothing, of course. And if they could just be spread thin enough...

...

Well, actually, helping them towards that end would be an admirable goal.

Actually, I have an idea about how we could go about that.

As it is right now, I am preparing to capture a... certain target of mine. I was planning on invading Tetha as a pretense for capturing her, since that's where she spends a lot of her time... when she isn't living at the Royal Base.

Perhaps we could coordinate our movements to attack several well known locations at once, while leaving Royal Base thin on forces to cover Doom's escape.

That's about where my thoughts were leading me. There are several things at stake, and many objectives that have to be met, of course... But showing an ability to strike a blow against DATS for the sake of one of our own would send an important message.

Like I said before, however, the key is luring DATS themselves. With all the Tamers here, that's not promised.

Not unless actions are taken which... shall we say, are relative to their interests?

...

And a "certain target," you say?

Yeah, my dear Alicia has seem to have made that a habit.

No need to be so strict on her right now though... her actions haven't really hindered any of my plans.
