I really enjoy the contemplative, quasi-dreamy qualities of your stories. So lovely.

Science nerd Blaine is a delight; honestly, nerdy Blaine in any capacity is awesomesauce.

It would be so easy for something like Blaine's quantum entanglement explanation to be OTT sappy, but you never let it go tat far. Always juuuust enough so that I'm a heart-eyed puddle of goo but I don't feel manipulated.

I'm very glad you liked it! Thank you. I enjoyed writing science-nerd Blaine.

And, oh man, I am so glad that you felt the quantum entanglement explanation was on the proper side of over the top. I knew I was walking a really fine line there, as I was writing it. Blaine is incredibly awkward about things like this ("I'm not good at talking about my feelings. I'm much better at singing them."), and when the QE thing occurred to me, it screamed "Blaine would totally use this as a really stupid metaphor" and "that metaphor is really, really unforgivably stupid"* at the same time. But I wrote it, and I felt like it worked as just something that bad-at-talking!Blaine would do. I'm really glad it worked for you, too. ♥

I will never be able to get enough of your writing style, sigh, it's just so so lovely and dreamy and I could roll around in your prose forever, I really can. Your characterizations are stunning - I particularly adored Kurt holding back that "I love you" and how Kurt sees everything in Blaine; his embarrassment about his past, the openness, the shameless adoration. Great stuff. I always flail a little when I see you pop up on my flist. <3

Aww, thank you so much! Really, you made little hearts appear in my eyes for a while. They frightened my family. I always love to see your comments on my fic. You are so incredibly nice. You make me feel good about writing this stuff.

I agonized over the "I love you" moment. I feel like I've used "I love you" moments in every single thing I've written for them (because, you know, I have, almost, but not intentionally), and I seriously wavered forever over whether to use it. But I knew that it was what Kurt would think, if I didn't have that back-of-the-mind reluctance to use the words again, so I let it go. Although I swear that in the next thing I write, no one is going to say (or think and not say) "I love you."

Absolutely perfect. The tone, the relationship - perfect. I love how they both envelope each other with love and caring. The Blaine bits - vulnerable and hiding as a new student, and now a head full of random facts (so totally my like my lovely hubby).

And I think I'll have to save the URL "if-I-fall-and-break-my-talent" on tumblr. What a great line.

Ha! Actually, that line is one of Rachel's. "At least I didn't fall and break my talent," when she slips on the buttered floor in The Substitute. (I totally just had to google that, because I honestly couldn't remember what it was referring to.) I think that Kurt subconsciously quotes Rachel a lot. They have a lot of the same reactions to things. (But I'm glad you liked the use of the line. ♥)

And I am very glad that you liked the fic! Thank you so much! I love people who are filled with random facts. It makes for the best conversation.
