Holy shi- I just stumbled on this, saw that you wrote this two months ago and I'm just blown away. It's so painful and so real, and I can smell those damn empanadas and feel her heartbreak and fear and my god.

I'm blown away. Wonderful. Painful, yes, but wonderful.

Aww. Seriously, aww. I appreciate that, very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And pingback_bot linked me to your post about it, which had me somewhere between giggling and offering you the deed to my house for being so incredibly sweet.

I'm not kidding, I was ANGRY that this didn't have scads of comments where people wept at your feet. flaming_muse brought me into Glee fandom and you were one of the writers she recommended, and I know why. Because this is gorgeous.

Just...this was lovely and it made me happy to find such a talented writer in this fandom. :)

flaming_muse is just the nicest human being, jeeze. I will bake her all of the cakes. And you are also a cake recipient. Thank you very much.

All stoney's fault I'm here. This is the first Glee fic I've ever read and OMG what a way to be introduced to Glee!fic. This is just ... I couldn't stop reading even though I'd told myself it would have to wait until tomorrow because it's way past my bedtime. But, I couldn't just stop after reading the summary. The SUMMARY... just making that clear.

So, thank you for writing this wonderful piece of work.

Wow! Jeeze, that's some pressure -- your first Glee fic, huh? That's really awesome; I'm totally honored, and I'm so glad that you liked it. Thank you so much for reading! Sorry for keeping you up past your bedtime!

I sort of want to start writing in one of your fandoms, after that comment. Thank you so much. I'm surprised and pleased that, despite not liking the show, it worked for you. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

oh, wow.

in general, i don't like fanfic. but i just started watching glee [took me 3 days to be caught up as far as Hulu will run them - they air a week later on Hulu] and i trust Stoney. and when she said "read this, it's awesome" i thought "she's never been wrong".

it brought literal tears. running down my cheeks. Santana reminds me of me. it's not the same secret - she's gay; i spent most of my years in school trying to hide my medical issues and the pain. and also hiding the abuse. but the "secrets choke you, you take the fear and anger out with sarcasm" is the same.

and episode six of this season, with the commercial about her being gay...
this was a timely story. and it was beautiful. thank you for writing it. is it ok to friend you, if you're going to write more of these?

Aww. Thank you. Really. I'm at once sorry and not sorry for the tears -- I'm mostly sorry for touching that sore spot. I never hid the fact that I was gay in high school, or really hid much of anything, but I have sometimes since, and it feels spectacularly awful. I'm happy you read and enjoyed it, even as someone who doesn't usually like fanfic. I'll admit that I never really did, either, a few years ago, but I'm a writer of original fiction, and fanfiction is sort of the best vacation a writer can take.

Please feel free to friend me, if you like! This journal is all fic, all the time. Fair warning, though: my pairing in this fandom is Kurt/Blaine, and I don't very often venture out of that. I've written things like this for them (things that are serious and issue-related), but it isn't always like that, so I thought I should let you know.

hey, i ♥ Kurt/Blaine! and there are some people who's fanfic i read, it's not like i avoid ALL fan-fic :) it's just, unless it's a person i know, i don't see it or seek it out :) probably because my first brush with fanfic was that infamous Harry Potter one, with the "Ebony/Enoby" character. [i blame TV Tropes lol ( ... )

also: sorry, meant to ask but distracted myself. you also write original fic? do you post that on this account? [i'm addicted to reading. no, really. it's almost like air to me.] are you published, can i buy? [i'm on a personal crusade to buy the works of anyone i meet who has ANY talent, and you've got a LARGE dollop of talent that i should be buying. erm, not to buy you're talent, but the products therof, i mean.]
