. .. doh? . whatever ails you, I suggest coming along to the Sin pre-game at Ross' place on Saturday. No money required, just rock up and get owned by me at soul calibur 3 ;> And no, that doesn't mean you also have to come to Sin afterwards. .
Work's massively depressing. I've been doing major aspects of a level 4 position for the last year, and been told by managment there's no hope of being rewarded for it. So now I'm cutting my services down to what the JDF says I offically do, and when the complaints start I'll point out the discrepancies between what I was doing and what I'm paid to do.
I'm also building a case parallel with this for going to The Commission to reclassify what I've been doing, but that's a _long_ beaurcratic process (and that says a lot, coming from me).
And I just don't currently have the enthusiasm to look for something new and better. Just treading water and trying not to drown too quickly.
It's a shame, the personal life's come together OK. Now it's the job that's sucking. Can't quite seem to keep it balanced - keeps sliding one way or the other.
Well, now the honeymoon is over, perhaps it's time for a shotgun divorce.
I recommend hunting for something new and better -- while the employment boom is happening you might as well ride it and get a transfer to some other public service department, with a new job and new responsibilities etc. It's probably worth the effort.
