Fanboyish Squee and gasm -- Heroes premiere
The premiere of Heroes was magnificent. Nathan has grown a pair and a spine when he tells his evil mother to get out of his apartment. 'Bout time he finally stood up to her for how she knew everything about the bomb being Peter and very much looking forward to her son exploding.
Seeing HRG (or Noah Bennet) working at his new job with a new last name (Butler) was a hoot. The manager of that Kinkos-like copy center is going to respect him, or next time the former Primatech Paper employee might just break a few of those fingers.
The ending really came as quite a shocker. Poor Peter needs a big hug. Not only having amnesia, but to be practically naked and hand-cuffed to the inside of a cargo container is traumatic enough, but when he gets his memory back he'll be reliving everything--essentially his entire life, since he has no idea of who he is. Peter Patrelli may very well be heading towards an oncoming train that will lead to psychosis and hanging out with Sylar.
