how silly are our plans? no. really. how silly? i can't tell whether they're all for naught, or whether we need them and need to keep forming them and dreaming them up. they're so unreliable. sometimes they can be like streams into a river, and they all come together and gain power and speed. sometimes they're like goldfish. sometimes like the

"hang in there". i saw that taped today to a cash register at Petcetera. it's true, i guess, or they wouldn't have put it up as an encouragement to their employees.

i think the Lord should give you a "hang in there" and i'm going to pray that He does. tomorrow is His worry, He wakes up the sunshine and lulls it to sleep again (or rather pushes it to the other side of the earth ---you'd think He'd get tired of doing that. you'd think He'd get tired of us, too, but He doesnt, never ever.... and He'll give you a "hang in there" note. maybe it'll be a flashlight that you can use all night long and tuck it away when the sun comes up tomorrow).
