well, working a 9-5 (well ok 8:30 to five) really kills your live journaling abilities. I come home (where I have no computer) and veg out or watch tv for a few hours because I am so exhausted. I have literally no time for friends or any kind of daytime recreation and I'm always in bed before 11.

yes, this is true...when i was at UCSC, i was working 40 hours a week and going to school full time...talking about killing everything in yr life...whew.

that's why (not that i am right now....) i check ljs while i'm AT work! but then again, i know i'm lucky enough to even be able to do that.... seriously though, just walking through my office, like almost every other person is browsing the internet and/or instant messaging who knows who. so i'm not so sure about "adulthood" for all adults in office situations! not that i'm screwing around online all day, but it's okay if a minute or two every now and then during my workday is put towards personal emails, etc. as long as you get your shit done and dont' interfere with anyone else, right?

oh and i still gotta figure something out for this weekend! i might just have to postpone any kind of festivities until next weekend due to moving, etc....
