Now that the wedding is over, I can focus on more important things, like crafts! I started checking out my favorite craft sites again (like this one and this one and I just discovered this one yesterday) and I'm totally inspired to make some cool shit. have you ever been to the art supply warehouse? we should go down there with you or something if they're having a big sale. they have things that you can do crafty things with (very cool papers, pens, etc), but they dont have like... scrapbooking type shit. they have a lot of stuff, though. there's another art supply store around there than sells more craft supplies. it's less than a mile from the art supply warehouse. it's called "pearl art and craft supplies" and it's huge.

Yes, we should definitely go...the flier says there will be items up to 90% off. I've never been there. I always went to the art store by Fullerton College or Michael's. I really want to get some new brushes and paint, and cool paper is always a plus. I'm not really into scrapbooking, at least not with the stuff they sell now. It's so expensive, and what's the point when it's all pre-made anyway?
And those sites I listed are really inspiring...I don't know if you had the chance to check them out. Lots of good ideas and projects!

90% off? holy fuck! you'll like it there. it has lots of supplies for cool art related stuff. that's where alex goes for all of his art supplies.

the pearl art supply place is like michaels, but it's like 3 times as big. they have soooo much shit there. you wont believe it.

for the record, i dont like the whole scrapbooking/fake flowers/rose stencil art type stuff. i like the crafts that are actually cool (i think we're the same in that respect).

there are some craft lj communities that you can look into too. my sister is part of some of them, i think.

Cool, I can't wait to check it out...art supplies can be so expensive so I definitely want to take advantage!

Yeah, if the craft is cutesy or Kountry (heh), I want nothing to do with it!
