I love you so much. I need you. Come home. You can never be replaced.

Nimbus has been gone for weeks. I've actually lost count. Looking back, it's probably been closer to a month. He went missing shortly after my last party in Pen. That feels like a month ago, and I've been on prozac for three weeks ( Read more... )

My hopes are that he shacked up somewhere for the winter with someone who is feeding him, but just hasn't let anyone close enough to see his tattoos.

Yeah. Makes me feel awful now, thinking about every time I ever tossed him outside by the scruff alongside some mouse or bird.

This is so sad.... I know I would panic if I lost my baby, so I can only imagine what you must be feeling. I hope he turns up soon, and that he's okay, wherever he is.... *hug hug hug*

Your story is so painful.

I had to euthanize my 19-year old baby girl almost 2 years ago, to the day (RIP 1/1/06). I had her for 18 years of her life and from the time I was 17-1/2.

Separation by death at least has an explanation, as unpleasant as it may be. Having no explanation, no clues, no recourse... that must be difficult.

I hope you two are reunited soon.

I'm sorry you had to lose such a dear friend. We had a cat in our family named Kouros for 10 years. Nimbus is almost his clone. We had to have him put to sleep as well, just before Christmas two years ago due to a stomach tumor. The tumor produced protein so he would not realize his hunger. It was very painful to have to see him wither away before we could euthanize him, so I understand your loss. :(

I love my grey kitties. I don't want to lose another.
