Pay off my HECS, do a Ph.D, buy a Smart Roadster and a nice apartment, deck it out with a quality A/V system, and invest the rest. If there was any.

I hardly believe they'd pay me all of enough to live more than frugally while I did it lol. Actually I must look into this, in all seriousness. I would like to be paid to study.

You get 18 k. from the federal government if you don't suck. Don't suck generally means being unsucky enough to be able to get into a phD in the first place.
