Hey, I thought I'd get this rolling.
Since penny pinching is such a necessary evil and yet, we still deserve to be entertained, a discussion of free things to do around the area (aside from the standard well known festivals, hiking, beaching, etc) might be in order.

Tapa's 177 also has free salsa dancing on Thurs.

Wine Sense on Park Ave has free small wine tastings at their store on Fridays, 5-7pm and Saturdays, 1-4pm.

That's really all I can think of off the top of my head.
