We got our wedding cake from http://www.mysweetmemories.us/ . She is just wonderful, and her Italian cookies are actually good, too. I normally don't like Italian cookies, but love her almond ones.

We were very pleased with our cake from Premier Pastry. I don't remember how the price was compared to other bakeries, but we were happy that they used real butter and other quality ingredients.

I know a great wedding band that is locally huge for their hilarious covers. They are a trio and are less expensive then say, nick and the nice guys, and way better. (nick auditions people for their wedding bands and you never get what you pay for). The band's name is Something Else and you can see them at a-pub on friday or find them on myspace/facebook. I know you said dj so this may be irrelevant.

Cake: Sweet Chicks, hands down. It was the only place we went that made me go "wow" when I tried her cakes. Don't waste your time with Little. They're over priced, and their cake wasn't that good.

DJ: This one is tough. We went with Go Sound, and the DJ was ok, once he showed up (said he'd be there at 2, got there at 3:30 when the guests were arriving), and he messed up one of the entrance songs. BUT, keep in mind, Go has multiple DJ's, and we addressed these issues with them. Joetta is GREAT to work with.

Whirlin' Disc turned us off because the owner bad-mouthed the weddings of a couple people we knew (separate weddings) that he had DJ'd. That was an instant turn-off for me.

Limousine services... Hmmmm...

Have you checked MetLimos? Their website is http://www.metlimos.com .

I highly recommend particularly for your wedding service.

Good luck!

P.S. If you call and identify yourself as LJ user kilo_foxtrot, perhaps they may give you a small discount depending on your specific needs and availability.
