Mover recommendations?

Nov 13, 2009 10:43

I am looking for movers in Rochester. I have used Universal Movers in the past, but apparently they're out of business. I have had one recommendation for Tony D's Movers, but I'm looking for other recommendations, too.

TIA.

I don't know anything about costs, etc., but my office moved recently and we worked with Lincoln Moving & Storage (an Atlas agent): http://www.lincolnmoving.com/

This was the first time I was ever part of a move that involved professional movers, so I have nothing to compare it to, but we were happy with them.

What kind of move are you looking for? If you're packing and getting a Uhaul or something and just need load and unload try emove.com. I (work at uhaul) and tend to recommend "A Helping Hand". That's who I've used and they're usually the highest rated on the site.

if you have helpfull friends, you can rent a truck, and pay yer friends to load/unload truck, as long as you pack well, and your friends arent waiting for you to finish packing, it goes quick, imho that is :)
