Fic Rec: Most people will already know about this, but in case it's slipped under anyone's radar: casira's All Through the Night. A beautiful, poignant Christmas HP fic featuring strangely endearing teenage boys

Of course it's slipped under my radar. Because it's not like I maintain a website that's supposed to KEEP TRACK of this, or anything. >.< Thanks for the heads up.
And I demand a picture. Right here, right now. We wants the precious. I have never ever EVER seen a Sirius. It's the bane of my slashy existence. He is so beautiful in my head that nobody in Real Life can come close. I'd like that changed at some point...
And Eowyn kicked so much ass. "I am no man!" It was great. Which endings do you mean? After the whole battle is over? The weddings and such? Yeah, they were a bit cheesy, but considering what they had all gone through, I didn't mind. (And I normally steer very very clear of cheese, unless it's the kind that can go in my mouth, in which case, bring it on. Er. Moving on...) I loved the part where they [SPOILER] bowed down to the hobbits, but that's because I love the hobbits and feel their pain (though not their glory). However, Arwen annoyed the piss out of me. Please. Somebody shoot her.
He is so beautiful in my head that nobody in Real Life can come close. This was my problem. I know what he looked like, at least when he was younger, but people who look like that are quite rare. This man was IT. The programme doesn't have its own website, I've since discovered and I may have to ring up for the information booklet they give away. (This is ok, as it'll help with other, non-Sirius-related research I'm doing, anyway.) I'll scan him when I get him and you can decide

Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Oh, you crack me up! She WAS! I mean, here they are (Sam and Frodo, that is), just about to [bleep for spoilers] and suddenly she gets mentioned? It's sort of like he wanted to say "Kiss me, Mister Frodo!" but didn't know how to go about it. Heh. Yeah, I can see what you mean about the wedding ending - it was a bit like Star Wars. But I did like them all coming in...because, like I said, I love hobbits and Frodo. Tralalala, moving on...
Aragorn and Arwen was, frankly, more convincing in the books than in the films, and Eowyn was just EONS better. Eons. Just goes to show that Faramir totally lucked out with that one. Arwen...what a wimp. So, she turned around. So what? Ugh. What was REALLY cheesy for me was how they 'hid' her until Aragorn could see her. Honestly.
Cheesy...that's the most accurate description I've heard for RotK yet but I don't dare say it in most circles; I've never fancied being stoned to death.
Also, thanks for the rec. I hadn't know about that one.
Thank goodness you agree! I was beginning to think I was in a minority of one. Although I admit, I did love the three films other than those last 25 or so minutes.
