Thank you!

I am utterly gobsmacked to see that a very kind person has given me six months of paid lj time. Now I can have all the icons I want, as well as other things like nice layouts. Please let me know who you are, VKP, so that I can thank you properly (or as properly as being on the other end of a computer will allow ( Read more... )

I got Clinton, too. I'm not sure if it's an insult, either! I have to see what I'd get for a film...

I obviously am that shallow.

Of course. I mean, sheesh, I've known this for nearly two years now, you're only just catching on?

How's my sarcasm? Is it working, is it working?!

mwah!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. What is this your icon here?

You got Bill too? Good, then we can be shallow together.

And good luck in those last few exams! The end's in sight, at last.

Mwwaaaahhhhhh!!

ps -- Thanks to the generosity of one of the loveliest people of my acquaintance, this is the almost as lovely Methos, in the midst of the quickening just after he's taken another immortal's head. It sort of summed up how I felt this morning.

Good, then we can be shallow together.

I'm game. Will it be a blow job in the office or a strip club?

It sort of summed up how I felt this morning.

Wow, that's quite a morning. That's sort of the opposite of how I felt. I actually might have had my head taken by a rogue immortal. That explains why my sunglasses won't stay on.

Strip club sounds fine to me. Blow jobs in the office are so passé, dah-ling.

You were largely responsible for that feeling.
And hey! You know more about HL than you've been letting on.

Sometimes I scare myself...

I got JFK (I like power because it increases my sexual options) and Apocalypse Now (I am a rogue wanderer on the winding river of life). what the hell is that supposed to mean?

but I don't think you should ever have to fear being seen as ordinary, not so much an option even if you tried.

Love and Smiths,
Jo

I burst out laughing at that. If anyone was going to get JFK for those reasons, it was always going to be you. You rogue wanderer, you...

Thank you for saying such reassuring things. I suppose ordinary and shallow would have been even worse.

*hugs*

I got Apocolypse Now, too. Let us wander together, you and I, in the search of blahblahblahblah, what the hell are they talking about, anyway?

Aha. You're on a sugar high.

I expect a crash and burn at any moment.

I would love to have one of your icons sometime, Ni! Thank you for offering.

I couldn't swear by the accuracy of the memes; I did another one this morning that said I would marry Viggo Mortensen and live in semi-detached bliss in Sweden with him. My second try got me Johnny Depp, and my third Karl Urban. Hmm. I must be on a roll with good results today... except the Clinton one. And thank you!

*hugs*

Oh, can I think about this for a bit? I don't want to waste it!

Oh, I don't know. "That Rochefort, she's just a social chameleon," I often find myself saying as I marvel at your willingness to compromise your beliefs and ethics for a fleeting taste of fame and fortune. The way you flit from pairing to pairing, writing whatever is currently popular, is a dead giveaway.

Apparently the other thing you can do with paid lj time is make polls, so you can now ask your readers what they'd like you to write, for example. That would fit in perfectly with "determining the most popular views and reflecting them", wouldn't it?

It occurs to me that perhaps I should refrain from posting while on cold medicine. Oops.

By the way, I just took those tests and got Hitler-- something about being paranoid-- and Easy Rider. So feel free to mock me relentlessly.

Easy Rider, cold medicine... I'm sensing a theme here.

Easy Rider sounds cool; but Hitler? What can I say, but BWAHAHAHAH!!
