So. All the festivals here are ending, and with them, for various reasons, my social life for the forseeable future. But I have scored some great stuff!

Top of the list: Valentine Pelka's (Kronos in Highlander) autograph after I pounced on him in the theatre bar after a brilliant performance. I had to squee at him to get it. I won't say I ( Read more... )

People don't write enough Weasleys, especially enough Molly. I mean, what the hell is wrong with them? SHe's the perfect mum! Why can't people appreciate this? In similar vein, I'm so tired of people talking about that damn 'At Swim, Two Boys' - especially Mr Mack. What a terrible, horrible father and character. Ugh.

Ok. Off to work on my Molly/Arthur drabble, and then I just got an idea for a Snarry, w00t! Maybe then I'll work on Snape/Sirius, or Snape/Lupin, or something. Any ideas, anybody? Tell me, tell me, tell me!

But, seriously, I'm so glad you had such a great time at the festivals! Do I need to mention that I'm envious? Ok, just once, maybe. I'm so jealous! No, but really -- I'm so glad you're doing well. Keep it up. And maybe now you can actually relax, and stuff!

Love and Haha,
Liz

Oh, brilliant -- especially the 'w00t!' Although I'm sad enough to say that I've never known what that means.

The festivals have been enormous fun. They always are; there's no place on the planet I'd rather be in August, and I can't always say that about living here.

Hope you're reconnected now!

I really don't know what to say: things along the lines of, 'This is a work of art' and 'I laughed till I wept' come to mind (I've been reading too many Fringe reviews...)

And you hit so many unnamed targets, you evil person. Favourite bits too many to mention, but maybe 'You'd be surprised at how exhausting it is to squeeze a bag.' I sound like a demented Rachel MacLeod (as though she weren't demented enough, with that Belfast accent.)

You are wonderful.
