All over lj like a rash at the moment. I tried to apply this to HL, too, but it didn't work there for a load of reasons - mainly because HL is far more sane and rational than the murky, swirling deeps of HP.

One of the funniest HP fics I ever read was Harry/Dobby.

Please don't tell me a sock was involved.

There were, inevitably, socks involved in that fic which, if I remember correctly, started off with Harry waking up to Dobby fellating him in pathetic gratitude for his Christmas gift of a new pair of socks. As Dobby is a complete sock-whore, I'm afraid they're over-used to the point of death in any Dobbyfic. Not that I read that many of them, mind.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I couldn't do it for HL because... well, you know... my least-favourite character would have ruled it out. Unless I wanted to be despised forever. And no, I don't mean Claudia Jardine.

Semi, although I'm still having bookmark and email issues. Hopefully they'll be ironed out in the next couple of days. It's been like moving into a new house -- maybe a modern loft, when I've been used to a multi-roomed, traditional Victorian house. It runs under OSX, and I don't feel at home yet.
