Take care up North! And enjoy it! I'm sorry the laptop has died: that is, in fact, a tragedy. Can it be revived?

In fact, it's behind me, on the shelf, in its little Amazon carton. I just haven't got around to opening it yet. How long is it till New Year?

I just love you. And it's, what, counting today, ten days? You could probably do it. But why?! :P

Love and Mwah!

It's grim up North (so they say) rochefort December 22 2005, 20:10:40 UTC
The laptop was making strange noises for a long time then fell over taking a large iTunes library with it. J has been trying to persuade it to get up again, but so far no go. We still have one route to try -- a friend who's a Mac engineer. I'm not holding out much hope, though. :(

It's callling me.... haunting me...
You know, it just struck me last night that the darkest time of the year, furthest away from any holidays and with the recent stress of Christmas just past, is probably the worst possible time to start making major life changes.

Still, as you say, over a week to go....

Mwahhhh!! you!

Aww, man, that stinks. I'm sorry. I hope the Mac engineer friend helps, but if not...is it at all possible to retrieve the hard drive, or no?

I think you head the nail on the head. Put your finger on the trigger. Got right to the point. It's the MOST stressful time, and there's already so much guilt-tripping going on, it's really not a good idea at all. So, I say, screw it, and wait for March. Because at least it's springtime, you know? Somewhere, it's gotta be warmer and nicer and lighter. :)

MWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! Crazy amounts of MWAAAAAAAH! :D

Your smiley makes me smile. :)

I didn't send out any cards to relatives at all last year, and my mother's disapproval was so tiresome that I thought this time I should just get it done and out of the way.

Having no computer sucks. And I can't take my iMac with me. :(

Happy Christmas to you too, sweetie! And the best New Year.

Mwah!!

I love you! Yesterday I brought home a copy of "Unclutter your life with Feng Shui"...I can't find it in all my clutter. I only read that stuff to laugh at it anyway.

Have fun up North!

Hahaha! It's true only if you believe it. Sort of like a placebo.

I will have fun! You too!
*HUGE hugs!*
