I forget how to work this thing

Still here! I don't know if anybody else is as I've sort-of dropped off the planet for aeons, so if everyone has unfriended me, that's ok. Sort of. In a way. Not that I think it's disloyal, or anything like that ( Read more... )

OMG YOU!! I MISSED YOU! I've wondered how you're doing for ages, but wasn't even sure if you had the same email address! Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

And, okay, HURRAH for DW being GOOD again. I've missed those days! (maybe there will be one single episode where the Doctor DOESN'T have an epiphany about being lonely? Or is that too much to ask?)

Hi, Roche! ♥

Hallo sweetie! I'm so happy to see that you are still happy and enjoying life etc. and so glad to see that things with your family are all going well. Wish I were coming to Boston this summer.

Hi! Thank you so much! Even the remotest possibility of you being in Boston this summer fills me with glee. I just wish you could! I'm just so happy to see you here! It's been ages, hasn't it?

Thank you, thank you for your kind words! *huge hugs*

Ni!!! *hugs you back* I'm so pleased you were pleased. :) Isn't it fab? I haven't actually been watching DW much this season (Catherine Tate; you may understand) but the first part of the Stephen Moffat two-parter is on tomorrow night as you probably know. I can hardly wait...

Still enjoying TW?

Double Yay! One for DW not sucking and one (louder and far more enthusiastic) for you posting! God, I've missed you. I'm very glad to here all is well. I worry. Like the old mother hen I am, deep inside ;) But really, what is this notion of only posting to LJ if you have something to say? Did you not get the memo of how this place works? Saying anything is entirely optional. And not an option often used by anyone. And certainly none of the best folks bother with such concerns. So yeah, post more and such. <3

You're too nice to me, as ever. Sorry to see you've been feeling rubbish lately. I know you may not believe this but I actually got rid of various allergies, including ever-worsening eczema, by changing the way I thought about them. I tend to avoid mentioning this to anyone as most people would probably think I'm bonkers; but do keep your chin up as there really is a way out of these things even without medication.

Hope your summer is wonderful and healthy as you deserve, sweetie.

Where can I find Set on Fire these days? One of my favorite R/S stories from long ago.

Oh, sorry, I missed your comment - I never check my mac mail these days (or MobileMe, I should say - and I even paid for the damn thing!).

Anyway, I think Set on Fire was at Azkaban's Lair.
(http://azkabanslair.slashcity.org/AzkabanLair.htm sorry I can't remember how to do the link thing) And thank you! I hope it still reads ok.

I dropped off the planet too. And I see you did again. Just got a wild hair and decided to see if you were around ... and you are. Except not so much, really. I'm sorry we got out of sync.

Hey-- new Manics soon! And I may try to come to the UK to see them.

Hello, you! By sheer good fortune I happened to notice that you'd left a comment here - and only a couple of months back, this time. I'm sorry we missed each other again, too, but hopefully you'll catch up with this comment... at least within in a year or so.

I sent an email to what I hope was your office address a few months back as I know your yahoo mail is no more. I couldn't be sure it was yours as handily I had lost the note you sent me with your new details (although I still have the envelope and was planning to send a card if all else failed). In the end, like a stalker, I googled you. Don't know what happened to that, though.

I am a very bad Manics fan and have not yet bought their new album. I hear it's wonderful, though, and am looking forward to finding out for myself. I have been a bit busy. Did you get over for the tour?

Hope all is well in your part of the world and I will send the card, I promise.

xx
