Alas, alas! There are greats who are paragons of their industry, and icons that exemplify a style. And then, sometimes, there is someone who, on their own, practically defines their genre. I'm convinced that without Bettie, pin-up would be little more than a historical curiosity. She brought a depth, risk and variety to it that's allowed the genre to grow and remain interesting. She was... extraordinary.

She was the insperado for having my hair like hers for so so long and getting into stockings and high heels. Something taboo yet hard to look away from, she may have passed away but she forever left her mark in history. I'd been watching this story progress until it ended, unfortunately all people have to die but some have their legend lives on forever. Long live Bettie Page!
