This has to be the sweetest, most uplifting and beautiful thing I've read in a long time. Your family - both old and new - sounds like the best of people. It's too early in the day (and too long before caffeine jump-starts my synapses) to have a hope of conveying what I want to about this, and why it should make me so happy.
