A fitting name, actually. *chuckle* These two are "Pocket Monsters", or Pokemon for short. Think of them as a mixture between pets and protection. They're capable of a variety of things on their own, but a Pokemon's true potential is reached when it and it's trainer can bond as one.

...you know, if you ever want to reach your true potential, Harley-san...
