1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Recorded a pretty decent E.P
Went to London 3 times on me own, to record, to play, to watch Shellac
Played a gig in London, Soho none the less
(wow, bit of a pattern emerging here!)
Moved in to a proper house all finally, it kinda feels more independent than halls in a way.
Changed my Uni course to a subject i'd never studied before and im loving it.
Got a piercing that’s isn’t my ears.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Erm, my memory isn't good enough to remember what they were but im sure i did, then broke them pretty damn soon.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What countries did you visit?
London and Tenby,not nesicarily other countries but still very fun places none the less.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
To have passed my first year Sociology with flying colours and to have got my shit together in various ways. Oh yeah, and a ferret or some other cool animal.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
My memory is so bad but
1st of December-went to see Shellac and Mclusky, amazing gig
Middle of February-ish for unhappy reasons.
15th of October - Mr Scruff
Apart from that I aint a budgies, proper rubbish with dates.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Over coming my fear of needles.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being too gullible, failing an essay in my first year art when i know i could so easily have passed it. It did make me reconsider my degree though which i think is a really positive thing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had Shingles a few weeks ago which was irritating ,got me a few days off work though so cant complain.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Irregular choice shoes because they’re immense. Or maybe my batman bag.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Sean for being a star and putting up with me constantly being a mardy arse.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
People who know how they are and what they have done. Enough said really.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Im ashamed to say but piss-ups and shoes i think,i've never bought as many pairs of shoes in my life,particularly Converse. 4 pairs this year to be exact.oops.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to London all them times, a few of the gigs we've played and moving out again.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? Hmm,possibly happier,am in a better situation with people i like and enjoy being with around me.

b) thinner or fatter? was thinner but back were i started basiclly,ah well,.

c) richer or poorer? richer because i've actually got a job now were as i was a proper povy student this time last year.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Practicing,studying,making the effort to get on with people,being less judgemental.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being anti-social, being naïve, and drinking, i've developed the hangovers from hell these days.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
At my Nan and granddads with my family getting drunk and playing board games. It wouldnt be Christmas if it wasn't like that.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Out of it maybe.

22. How many one-night stands?
Nil. Zip. (thank god)

23. What was your favorite TV program?
Sex and the city quite embarrassingly .

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes,with a passion I never thought possible. How childish of me.

25. What was the best book you read?
American psycho - Brett Easton Ellis

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Guided by voices, Shellac, Mclusky, Dinosaur Jr, Le tigre, Eighties matchbox b-line disaster, Butthole surfers.

27. What did you want and get?
To see some boss bands, to go on holiday, and a job so I wouldn’t be poor and have the dosh to waste on pointless things.

28. What did you want and not get?
The ability to completely trust people.

29. What was your favourite film of this year?

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 19 and i seriously for the life of me can't remember what i did,it was way back in February though. Any ideas?

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having started the course I’m doing a year earlier so i could be in my second year and more on my way to achieving my master plan. Mwahahahaaa

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Dodgy to-short fringe (meant to be Amelie style but looks feck all like it)
Knee length skirts or scruffy jeans
Scruffy Converse in an assortment of colours.
Band Tshirts more recently.

33. What kept you sane?
Friends (Sean,bill and Ben particularly),music,family.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Er, Kieran Culkin maybe.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Bush,everything to do with him pretty much.

36. Who did you miss?
people who i thought i could have had really good friendships with but buggered it up in a true Laura style.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Not so much as met but got to know better, Mr Toy or any of the Straight outta clapton people.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Trust your own instinct because as much as people my tell you its not true,it usually turns out it is.
