Despite all the ice and wintry mess that I am completely over with, last night was SO MUCH FUN. Can I just say that I absolutely love this band? I love Panic forever and ever. I feel like I'm just exploding with joy from the all the ways last night was AMAZING.
Sarah and I got to the venue pretty much as they started letting people in, so luckily we didn't have to stand in the cold too long. STILL SO COLD THOUGH. We got to talk to a couple bros about Fall Out Boy and how much we miss them. Fanboys are my absolute favorite people omg.
The opening band, Walk the Moon, was a lot better than I was expecting. I wasn't expecting much, but they were so much fun to dance to so I was sold. Plus the bassist was cute.
BUT THEN THERE WAS PANIC! AND EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. 'Mona Lisa' is amaaaaaazing live, and I really enjoyed 'Let's Kill Tonight'" But 'Nearly Witches' was far and above my favorite new song. I cannot fucking wait to hear the album version omg. THEN BRENDON PLAYED 'SCIENCE FICTION/DOUBLE FEATURE' AND I DIED. Brendon was an even greater Brendon then before if that make sense. And it's so cheesy, but his little speech about how thankful they are for their fans was so sweet. I know bands say that all the time, but I could just feel the love in the room. It was wonderful. ♥
Unfortunately we stood where there was often a cymbal in front of Spencer's face. That was sad.
Classic.
SPENCER. (Funny story: After the show on our way back to Penn Station, these like, 15 year-old girls were with us and we started to talk about the show, obviously. One girl said that she thought Spencer looked sad and I was all NOOOOOOOO in my head. Let's just stop with this depressed Spencer thing, it's uncool. Other than that, they were pretty adorable and entertaining.)
I LOVE THE NEW DESIGN.
You're hair is so nice, Mr. Smith.
After the show we headed to get our coats, and who do we happen to see? Alex mother-fucking Suarez. I've been wanting to Meet Alex for what feels like forever. My favorite Cobra was so charming and nice. He asked us what our jobs are, was very excitable about Creed Shreds youtube video that I had never heard of. Suarez wants everyone to check it out, so have with that. Here our mugs with Suarez. We were still talking when Sarah took our pic so that's my excuse for why I look mad awkward.
I'm sorry it's slightly blurry, Sarah!
Idk, I like this picture. Taken when we were outside after just peering in.
Yeah, so last night was epic. I'm just going to play it on repeat in my mind for days.
55 DAYS UNTIL VICES AND VIRTUES!
