out of ALL my friends on LJ you're the only one that wants to try out the experiment and i'll admit... i'm disappointed.

but i'm also thrilled that you're willing to give it a try and see what happens! i think for the most part people just don't KNOW that they're negative. that they've been like this for so long that they don't know any better. but... i guess some people are happy in their own misery. i... am not.

and if they don't want to partake in the experiment to see how negative they are... they better be ready for me to say things like 'stop being negative' or 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything' because i seriously have had enough negativity in my world. it effects me... it effects the people around me... it effects one and all. so if they don't want to come to their own conclusion by doing the experiment... they better be ready for me to be very blunt and very honest with them. not rude. not negative. just honest. and some people deal with honesty worse than holy water it would seem.

so far this ( ... )

Just because people don't reply, doesn't mean that they aren't doing it. Not everyone is going to go out and post how they are doing or what's on their mind as freely as others. And why should they? Not everyone communicates or deals with personal issues the same, and it shouldn't be expected of them. Why be disappointed? You've done your part, you have no control over what others do. Having posted the challenge you've made others aware of the negativity out there, and that is to my thinking is great. Awareness is a great first step.
