I found out today that one of my friends got engaged on Halloween! Don't get me wrong, I am THRILLED for her and Drew is a sweetheart, but I just don't understand how things work. I'm in all these damned relationships that are all long term, I'm a "good girl", I'm committed, and yet here are all these other people who get diamond engagement rings
