so i went to this art / poetry exhibit at aquinas this afternoon, which was extremely liberating, it was this combination sculpture/poetry project that this married couple, (ron and miriam pederson, art and english profs at aquinas, respectively), does collaboratively, it was really awesome, i think it was based on hebrews 11 cause it was called ' ( Read more... )

gosh...fine.i will comment on your comment and i have to say that i totally agree.from a non american point of view i can rightly ask why does america want to change the rest of the world to be just like you?who gave you the right to decide what the iraqi people "need" and that democracy is the way to go,cos how they are and believe in is all they know.thats all they have ever known and had...i don't know if this makes any sense and i can't do this in afrikaans so its a bit tricky,but i think your getting what i am saying....do you really think they are better off with you there?coz i honestly don't think anything good is going to come out of this in the long run....but hey,thats just what i think...what do i know??
