lousy commies

i pretty much realized i can't stand prof. wakeman, who is the head of the degree program i'm in. i can't believe he gave me and bryce a b on our music tech. final project. it was obviously the best one - nobody else did anything remotely original or anything that sounded good at all. my other major beef is that he was the guy who had to watch ( Read more... )

I'm sorry about that. Wakeman isn't the greatest. He was my high school choir director, but he never really seemed great at anything but piano. Oh well. Good luck with the business minor if you do decide to go with it.

Gotta love practically being forced to change majors because of a professor. (::cough:: Such as Sprague being the only, sucky computer professor at Cornerstone. ::cough::) Guitar performance and business sound better to me. So, pray, and look at the pros and cons of both.

Oh, and way to get me excited for music tech next semester. :-)

becky its a sweet class. compared to alot of the classes offered and stuff but it would be so much sweeter if like hollinger or even burghart or somebody taught it - cause wakeman teaches it from the perspective of a sting/charlie peacock obsessed computer geek - well i guess that kind of works for you (....;)?) in some ways. i'm sure you'll ace it. you can probably even use stuff you've already done for most of the projects. you just have to learn to take wakeman with a grain of salt i guess. but yeah this next semester is gonna be real pivotal for me.

Haha, I know I like it. It would be pretty awesome it Burghart taught it, but I think he's really computer illiterate, so would that work? Lol. I actually was considering using stuff I've already done for the projects, although I'd rather do new stuff. At least I have that option if I ever don't feel like doing a project or something. Anyway, it should be an interesting class.

Next semester's gonna rock for me, too. :-)

I have no idea if it your passion or anything... but I would just throw out the idea of going into music education. I also know your passion of performing too, and having the business minor looks good for the venuership (which is the ownership of a venue). But from what I have heard form music majors the CCM major isn';t the strongest thing you could graduate with, so, just from that I would totally encourage a change. Well, thats it... love peace and coffee!
