Doctor Who

There was like a Doctor Who mini marathon going on on BBC America tonight and like the little Martha groupie I was, I watched it. Then I watched the Graham Norton Doctor Who special which was funny as hell. I seriously laughed till it hurt. David is actually quite funny. Never would have thought.

Tonight they showed The last 2 episodes of Series 3 ( Read more... )

This fangirl is sad that she doesn't get BBCA. Stupid cable.

SciFi had the rights to New Who before BBCA started taking off over here. They were running 04 this summer a week behind Britain (literally, Saturday was New Who day, I'd catch the repeat when I got home after work). I dunno what that means for airing rights for SciFi or BBCA, but I have to make do with the DVDs and my torrents anyway, so eh.

And I think it's because of who Jack is in Who -- just a Companion, an assistant. He's allowed to be fierce and sarcastic and wonderful in Doctor Who because if he fucks things up, he'll have someone to clean up after him. In Torchwood he's a leader, so all those choices weigh harder on him. Also, Who doesn't give him as much screen time as Torchwood. I bet if they did, he'd go all emo.

He does still have the perfect hair in Torchwood though, can't deny that. Ianto must buy him a lot of hair gel to keep it nice and stiff despite all his rooftop jaunts.

Don't be a sad fangirl BBCA isn't all it's cracked up to be. I still have to download the torrents because BBCA shows the edited version for the little kids watching so I don't get the unedited version like I want ( ... )

I was babysitting last night and managed to put the kids to bed before it came on.

It took me a few minutes to find the channel on their cable but when I did I was so freakin happy.

I caught the last twenty minutes of Sound of Drums, and than sat back for a whole night of Doctor Who. Never seen Voyage of the Damned before, so it was pretty much new for me.

When it was on Sci-Fi I never really took notice of it until the last few episodes aired.

Wasn't the Graham Norton show funny! It was hilarious with that Tardis and then it made noises and then that man did not know what a Tardis was. I was laughing hard the whole time.

I did not watch Voyage of the Damned because I am a Martha fan more of a Doctor Who, so I did not care for it and did not try to see it.

Yeah SciFi is sneaky like that. I did not even know they were showing it until a couple of nights ago. I usually get my shows from uploads on LJ.

I kept looking at the Police Box and than back at the bus he was waiting for just passing him by. hehehehe. That little move thing picking it up and than the noise just had me crackin up.

But I was so tiered that I fell asleep half way through the show. I was so madthat I didn't get to finish watching.

Ah Martha Jones savior of the world. There will never be another like her.

I've stopped waiting for people to post on LJ cause whenever I get to DL them there always in a format I can't see. Even with a convertor.

So I have to wait for the cable or dvd versions... which should be coming in the mail any day now. --taps feet impatiently-- I hopes.

You ordered the DVD's? Braver than I am. I am not willing to spend that much money on 13 episodes for Dr Who. I do for Torchwood if I have the money but I keep waiting for it to go down just a bit because it's too high for a show in which I don't even like all the episodes. What did you end up ordering?
