but, I actually am starting a job tomorrow; which means earning some cash, and spending that cash on random things. ;hearts&
Also, regarding your comment in a previous post; I looked through more of my father's records today. He has a lot of the Beatles' albums (all of them, I think..), a lot of the Beach Boys (!!!), the Hollies, the Turtles, The Byrds, The Who.. a lot along the lines of those.
But I pretty much swiped all of the Beach Boys ones, the early Beatles, and The Byrds'. ;hearts& I'm still looking through, and I need to go buy a new needle for the record player.. the one it has right now is broken..
I dunno if you knew that or not. But I'm not being sarcastic. I have tons of books (5), DVDs (4), and CDs (13), and box-sets (2). I'm totally obsessed. Which albums were they? Tell me he has Pet Sounds, man. Gotta have Pet Sounds.
Only early Beatles? C'mon... that stuff pales in comparison! Revolver, Rubber Soul, that's where it's at!
I didn't know you were that much of a fan. Haa- but, impressive, nonetheless.
Yes, he does have Pet Sounds; well, I do, technically. And, as for the Beatles albums and more of Beach Boys.. bah; there are so many! I can't even remember most of them.. I'll have to go through the ones I picked out as keepers again.. heh.
And, I like the early Beatles. Like "Please Please Me" and "Anna (Go To Him)"; the later stuff I am not so into.. Abbey Road is amazing, though.
The earlier Beatles is even simpler than early Beach Boys... simple, but catchy nonetheless. I don't find it to have enough substance to listen to it over and over, though. Songs like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" or "Please Please Me" etc.
