My landlord just stopped by to very rudely order me to close my windows. I was only keeping all of my windows open so that i don't bake to the freshly mopped floor. My apt. for anyone who hasn't been here gets insanely hot! The only way to battle this is to open the windows, this pisses off the landlord because he pays the heat. He threatened to

If nothing else in these months that are winter it is actually impossible for your landlord to evict you, even if you stopped paying your rent in its entirety. If he's worried about the heat you could always contribute to it by tossing him in the furnace...

you should look into getting a tenant's right's handbook for your area... your local courthouse should have them.

Seriously, I don't feel they could evict you for this. For one reason the neccesity to have the window open is because of their ridiculous heating system. I will do some research about tenants rights....I have done this before ya know.

Maybe you should complain to them about the insane heating situation. It's frickin ridiculous up there, and maybe you can make them understand that.
