my daughter woke up at 3:30 last night, so i got up to give her a snack and a dry diaper. little sweet thing. anyway, carried her out to the couch to feed her, and sat on something furry. my dog NEVER gets on the couch, and additionally he always sleeps in the bedroom, which is where i assumed him to be. what i felt muct have been his leg, and what ( Read more... )

New baby? Hooray! My shorties are 5 and 4. I'm so glad we're past the late-night wake up thing.

yes, hooray!!!! and thanks! she is a magnificent baby, and at 3 months, she sleeps the night MOST nights. but she's had a cold so is getting up a bit more lately. yay for shorties!

Yeah, you're getting past the hard stage.

I've got a complete set: one boy, one girl. Boy shorty is halfway through kindergarten now, which is really scary. It seems like just yesterday that he was 3 months old.

I hope you never, ever have to go through the rotovirus thing with her, but it's kinda hard to avoid once they start getting around other kids. OMG. So hard. On the plus side, it kinda helps in potty training.

we're aiming for a full set, but not for a couple years :) and i've heard about the rotovirus. i fear it. she is in daycare now b/c i'm back at work, and she's been sick since she started. she has been tested for RSV twice, but apparently its just a cold and all i can do is suck out her shnoz and run the humidifier. poor thing.
