Whatever happened to salad bars? why aren't they featured in many establishments anymore? back when they were more prevolent, i would be known to choose a restaurant based solely on their salad bar. i love salad.  there should be more bars. i don't appreciate having to frequent places like Ruby Tuesday to get a good salad bar.

Don't you have a Jason's Deli down there?

Oh, DOOD. When you make your way up to Raleigh to better yourself, you need to check it out. Their salad bar will rule your soul.

honestly. the only reason to go to Ruby Tuesday is the salad bar. otherwise, boooo to chain restaurants!

i think maybe a reason you don't see many salad bars anymore is that people started to freak out about how "germ-y" they could be. like the sneezeguard doesn't do anything and people's hands are all over the food and so on. but lots of places have added salads to their menus. it just sucks that you cna't truly make your own anymore. i usually go to the grocery store for a decent salad bar. of course, homeless people probably dip in that one too...

i went to the salad bar at the harris teeter in mayfair, which is where rich people shop so the bar was tip top. i ate the whole thing as was starving. it was glorious!!
