Ah, Gordor! I think he's a pretty interesting character because his whole motivation is his rivalry with Hastings. I can't help but think that's a little immature. Especially because Hastings seems completely oblivious to all of this, as though Gordor had gone his whole life not bothering to mention this to him.

I also noticed something interesting: In the first game, the glossary entry for the Union says "it was founded by Prof. Hastings and three compatriots", yet in Shadows of Almia the THREE founders of the Union are said to be Hastings, Erma, and Lamont. Does that mean the fourth was Gordor, and he was actually a part of it before he left and started holding this ridiculous grudge? I notice he's really "anti Union Rangers", and as far as I can remember, stealing the Styler plans was supposed to lead to the Go-Rock Squad replacing the Rangers...so I guess he just wants to be in charge of the whole Ranger organization himself

Iiiiiiiiinteresting. Well, that would certainly be a fascinating twist ("I don't need you! I'll start my own union! With stylers! And disco! On second thought, forget the stylers!")
