In theaters? I thought this was supposed to be a made-for-TV special.

Who is the blue-haired guy? He doesn't look like any of the ponies I know. If he's some random human love interest... yeah, good luck explaining that you're really a magical pony from another dimension, Twilight Sparkle. Poor kid will need therapy for years.

I might rent it for $1 when it comes out on DVD, even though the human proportions and skin colors still creep me out.
