If you catch all your Pokemon at the Safari Zone, where does Porygon come from?

Not all of them come from Safari Zone. We get our Dratini's from a Super Sekret Place, and we make our Porygons, to name a few.

...Advanced technology. Porygon is the first artificial pokemon, but hopefully won't be the last.

Oh, I do love the Safari Zone, and I've never even been much of one for Pokemon training, honestly. But the Safari Zone is such a nice, pleasant place. Of course I'd go mad if I had to spend too much time there, but short visits are simply divine, especially if you go with the right crowd.

I like it a lot. It's a good place to go and get yourself together when you're forced to work at the front desk and have annoying sonsofbitches KEEP BOTHERING YOU when you could be watching the Gym Leader Conference.

Was the Game Corner really that crowded on the day of the Conference? I'm honestly surprised. You'd think that most people would go to see the Gym Leaders battle. I didn't, of course, but I had prior obligations anyhow.
