Riding - week 11

Lisa was poorly sick today, so I had Liz as my instructor. Liz teaches the group class that I'm aiming to get into, so it was good to experience her teaching style. Similarly to Lisa, she works me hard!! I was exhausted by the end of the half hour, although I'm sure a break of nearly 2 weeks away probably had something to do with it

Going out for a hack sounds like an excellent idea... it's not only horses that can get "arena sour"... I know I want to start taking Ariel out as soon as the weather permits... April/May time!!

I know, it made me giggle too :-)

Am looking forward to hacking out and putting my learning into practice for a full hour! Luckily, we're able to ride out all year round - april/may seems like a long time to wait :-(

It might not be that long but there's no way of knowing what the weather's going to do here! We are finally about zero, just, so at least some of the snow that's built up will be melting today :)

I rode Ariel last night... the first time since I got back from Christmas... I lunged her last week & then the weather decided to put a kibosh on riding any other night until yesterday... stuuuupid weather!
