I had seen a video on Hong Kong street cars but I thought that Japan got rid of all street running rail operations generations ago. I was under the impression that Japan had no street cars whatsoever. That's news to me. I'd be curious to find out what Japanese city this was. It's probably the only place in Japan that still uses street cars.
From what I've been seeing on youtube, there is a fair amount of street trackage in Japan in old industrial cities. I have yet to see any new looking lines though, so it may be dieing out slowly.
I'm not much better at it, as embarrassing that is. hehe I think I know Russian better some days, even though they say its even harder to learn.
I'd say its possible that some of these trains are on the Hiroshima Street Railway, Hankai Tramway(Hankai-Densha|Hankai-Line), Oksaka, Tokyo Tram, Kagoshima Tram.
There may be more out there, but, I know are still in operation by the looks of things on youtube.

I think my favorite part was the street car going by with the fireworks display in the background. That added a nice touch of would be nostalgia.

That was a really nice scene, good job by the photographer to frame the shot like that.
