SO I HEARD YOU LIKE DEETS... [THE FOX AND THE POUND]
Plot Summary
Fox McCloud is caught buying illegal parts for his Arwing. What would normally be a fine and a slap on the wrist, turns into an opportunity for a smear campaign against the refugees courtesy of the Purists. Initial attempts at having his name cleared by Lady Une are denied, so she gets in touch with Archangel (Garrus) to see if something can be done. Outraged by this injustice, Garrus gets in touch with the rest of the Normandy Crew (Shepard, Legion, Mordin, Samara and Kasumi), Wolf, Bill, and Ezio to see if they can break him out of his prison. Before they can launch their plan, however, they found out (through another video/commercial leaked on the network) that Fox has actually been moved to a maximum security pound due to noncompliance to his interrogation.
Also, because he's not people.
Unfortunately, this also puts a time limit to their rescue attempt since Fox is slated to be 'put down' within the next couple of days. Unable to waste anymore resources on planning, the group finally comes to a decision: they're going to split up into three separate teams, each with a different role to play in getting Fox out of the pound. Ezio, two of his assassins (Cass and Xigbar) and Samara will provide a distraction for the in house guards. Meanwhile, the infiltration team made up of Legion and Kasumi will cut off the defense team while also diverting all security alarms to different parts of the ship so no reinforcements can arrive. As the two other teams work to make sure the mission goes off without a hitch, the extraction team made up of Garrus, Shepard, Wolf and Bill will storm the pound with the intention of breaking Fox free and causing a little bit of havoc. Mordin is waiting outside in a commandeered ambulance.
Upon entering said pound, the distraction team is faced with a small army of dalek-like robots with almost impenetrable armor, and then an army of robot guard dogs. All of these defense mechanisms are controlled by the head of security who goes by the name Gonerd "Cheeto" Ferguson, a three ton alien with ten pairs of arms, who lives strictly on a diet of rice krispie treats, cake and, like his name suggests, cheetos. He's also a virtual gaming master. Because of his 'niche' skills, Gonerd is able to skillfully control the robots against the distraction team.
That is, until his gaming prowess is challenged by Legion.
Part of Legion's goal in destroying the defense system means that it has to beat Gonerd at his own game, which it is able to do fairly easily. The shock and anger at the loss pushes Gonerd into a fit of ragequit and he froths himself into a coma, effectively shutting down the robots since they have nobody controlling them. Unfortunately, during this fight Legion had to link itself up to the computer systems which hacked it as a failsafe. Although Legion is able to stop this attempt, some data, specifically the names and faces of Team Normandy is leaked to the Purists.
While all that is going on, the extraction team is going to blast through the halls, incapacitating any stray scientist that may cross their path. No lethal means will be used, but a lot of angry headbutting will occur. Eventually, they'll find Fox and bust him out of there, carrying him over to the awaiting ambulance. Whether or not they meet Gonerd along the way is still up in the air, but not something to worry about just yet.
Everybody meets up at a rendezvous point, people chew out Fox, and Lady Une will eventually manage to get his name wiped off the records. Until then, he's in hiding.
Puppies and kitties also flood the Thor.
TIMELINE
November 2: IT BEGINS
- Fox gets captured, and the footage is posted all over the network
November 4: VISIT LE GALAXY DOG
- Une tries to negotiate Fox's release, only to get redtaped by a Purist backed cop.
- She gets in touch with Garrus, who starts to devise a plan
November 6: HEY WE SHOULD GET FOX
- Garrus gets in touch with Ezio & Co., asking for their help to infiltrate the prison where Fox is being kept.
November 8: SAD ANIMAL COMMERCIALS ARE THE WORST
- Basically this is the post that reveals that Fox is gonna get put down
November 10-11: OKAY LET'S BREAK OUT LE GALAXY DOG

November 14-15: EVERYTHING ENDS
- Everybody chews Fox out, and the Thor's stray animal population seems to have grown a bit.
- Lady Une manages to make it so Fox can actually integrate back into society without being caught.
